ABUS FAS101 Window hinge-side security lock, white

ABUS FAS101 – window hinge-side security lock

The ABUS FAS101 is an additional lock mounted on the hinge side of an inward-opening window or French window. It supplements the standard fittings with an extra security point, making it harder to force the window open on the side that is usually the least protected.

How it works

The lock works with a latching, removable bolt – when the window is closed the element latches automatically, and opening requires deliberately removing the bolt. The design is intended to provide maximum protection while keeping everyday use of the window convenient.

Solid build

• Made of alloy steel
• Security level 10 in the ABUS classification
• Mounts on the window or French window frame
• White color, blending discreetly with typical PVC windows

Use

The product suits apartments on lower floors and single-family homes, where inward-opening windows are a potential point of burglary. It is a supplement to, not a replacement for, standard window fittings.
