Queen bee isolation cages, set of 21 pcs.

Queen bee isolation cages – set of 20 pieces

A set of plastic cages designed for safely isolating and transporting a queen bee during work at the hive, replacing a colony, or shipping the queen to another apiary. The cage protects the queen from attacks by worker bees when she is being introduced to a new colony.

Use

The isolators make it easier to temporarily separate the queen from the rest of the colony during inspection, marking or acclimatization of a newly introduced queen, reducing the risk of injury. They are also useful when transporting queens between hives or apiaries.

Construction

The cages are made of durable ABS plastic, resistant to damage with repeated use, and the openings in the casing allow free scent contact with the rest of the colony, which helps the bees gradually get used to the new queen.

Set contents

The package contains 20 isolation cages and an additional storage container, so you can have a supply for the whole season of work in the apiary.
