Fogger for controlling Varroa mites in the hive

A beekeeping device designed for fumigation treatments of the hive, making it possible to deliver protective agents to the bees in the form of a fine mist, among other things as part of Varroa mite control. The equipment allows treatment of a larger number of bee colonies to be carried out quickly and efficiently.

How it works

A solution of the active substance is heated in a heating coil and released as a dense, white mist of very fine droplets that do not harm the bees, while effectively limiting the Varroa mites' ability to breathe. The bees themselves spread the mist throughout the hive, increasing the effectiveness of the treatment.

Compatible substances

The device can be used with various agents used in organic beekeeping, such as oxalic acid, thymol or amitraz, which gives the beekeeper flexibility in choosing a treatment method depending on the time of the season and the condition of the colony.

Construction

The fogger is equipped with a removable nozzle that makes cleaning easier and an improved heating system that ensures stable operation during successive treatments in the season.
