Continental Ultra Sport III 700x28 – folding road bike tire

Continental Ultra Sport III 700x28

The Ultra Sport III bicycle tire is a Continental model intended primarily for road and road training bikes. It is available in several widths - 23, 25, 28 and 32 mm - so you can match it to your frame, fork and riding style.

Construction

The tire has a folding construction, making it lighter than the wire-bead version and easier to store as a spare. The smooth tread, typical of road tires, reduces rolling resistance on asphalt, and the PureGrip Performance rubber compound is designed to provide grip on both dry and wet surfaces.

Use

The tire fits 700c rims (and the 650 variant) used on road bikes, gravel bikes and some city bikes with thinner tires. It works both as a replacement for a worn tire and as a spare part when getting a bike ready for the season.

Fitting

Before buying, check the size marking on the sidewall of your current tire (e.g. 700x28C) and the maximum tire width allowed by your bike's frame and fork, to avoid the tire rubbing against the frame.
