ThinkRider X2Max Smart - direct drive bike trainer, black

ThinkRider X2Max Smart - smart bike trainer

The ThinkRider X2Max is a direct drive bike trainer that lets you do cycling workouts at home all year round, whatever the weather. The bike is mounted directly on the trainer in place of the rear wheel, which eliminates slip and improves power measurement accuracy compared to roller trainers.

Quiet operation

Thanks to the direct drive, the trainer produces little noise, at 58 dB, so you can train without worrying about complaints from neighbors - important in apartment blocks and older buildings with thin walls or ceilings.

Power measurement and resistance

Inside is a larger, heavier flywheel, which gives better inertia and a more realistic ride feel than lighter designs. The DEPT electromagnetic power meter measures power up to 2000 W with an accuracy of within +/-2%, making it a suitable tool for more demanding interval training as well.

Compatibility

The trainer connects via ANT+/BLE to smartphones (iOS/Android), tablets, computers (Mac/Windows) and bike computers, so you can use popular training apps. It supports 12x142/12x148 mm thru-axles (with an adapter) and standard 130/135 mm quick releases, as well as wheel sizes of 24, 26, 27.5, 29 inches, and 650C and 700C.

Who it is for

This is equipment for cyclists who want to continue regular cycling training in winter or on days when riding outdoors is not possible, while keeping accurate power measurement and a realistic ride feel.
