FANATIK Lexus Bolo 6 m – Bolognese float fishing rod with guides

FANATIK Lexus Bolo 6 m – Bolognese rod

The FANATIK Lexus Bolognese rod is a telescopic float fishing rod intended for anglers who value precise float control and quick reaction to bites. The bolo-type design, a rod with guides used without a fixed reel or with a light reel, works well when fishing on rivers, canals and lakes, where control over the rig at longer distances matters.

Construction

The blank is made of graphite, which gives good stiffness at relatively low weight. The rod is available in three lengths - 4, 5 and 6 meters - and the 6-meter version consists of six sections, so when collapsed it has a transport length of only about 127 cm. The handle is made of cork, which gives good bite sensitivity and comfort when holding the rod in the hand for a long time, as is typical of the Bolognese technique.

Use

The rod is designed for classic float fishing, including the Bolognese method, popular for catching peaceful fish in running and still waters. The manufacturer lists pike-perch, eel, perch and trout among the target species. The medium action gives good control of the hookset and feel even for delicate bites, while still providing enough power to land larger fish.

Who it is for

This is an option for anglers looking for a versatile telescopic float rod that can be used both on a river and on calm still water. It works as basic equipment for fishing with the Bolognese method and as a supplement to the kit of more experienced anglers.
