ABUS Smiley 3.0 M (50-55 cm) – kids' bike helmet, blue

ABUS Smiley 3.0 – kids' bike helmet

The ABUS Smiley 3.0 bike helmet is a proven protective solution for the youngest cyclists, designed with both safety and wearing comfort in mind. The model is available in size M, fitting a head circumference of 50-55 cm, in a shiny blue color.

Construction and safety

The helmet uses In-Mold technology, in which impact-absorbing foam is permanently bonded to the outer polycarbonate shell, providing high durability while keeping the weight low – the helmet weighs only about 240 grams. The deep profile gives good protection for the neck and temples, and the umbrella-shaped front edge additionally shields the child's face while riding.

Fit and comfort

The adjustment dial at the back of the helmet lets you precisely fit the inner ring to the child's head circumference, ensuring a stable and comfortable fit. The height adjustment system at the back of the head leaves enough room for a ponytail or braid, which makes the helmet especially comfortable for girls with longer hair.

Ventilation and visibility

Four air intakes and four air outlets provide good ventilation, reducing head sweating during active riding, and insect nets at the vents protect against insects. Reflective elements on the helmet surface increase the child's visibility in traffic, which is important when riding at dusk or in poorer lighting conditions.
