Timing chain tensioner for V6 engine - OEM replacement

Timing chain tensioner for V6 engines

A timing system part intended for V6 gasoline engines used in models including the Isuzu Axiom, Rodeo, Trooper and Amigo, as well as selected Hyundai and Kia engines from the 2.5-2.7 DOHC V6 family. The tensioner maintains proper timing chain tension, which directly affects correct valve timing and engine operation.

Part numbers

The part matches the original OEM numbers: 8-97328512-0, 8973285120, 8-97136257-0, 8971362570, as well as the replacement numbers T43188, HAT125S-5 and 024-1432. Before buying, it is worth verifying the part number against the documentation of your specific engine.

Material and construction

The tensioner is made of iron and steel, which provides adequate mechanical strength in engine operating conditions. The design was made to the exact mounting dimensions of the original part, so installation requires no additional modifications.

Use

Replacing the timing chain tensioner is recommended for typical symptoms of timing system wear, such as a characteristic rattle from under the hood on a cold start or uneven engine running. Regular inspection and replacement of worn timing parts helps avoid more serious engine failures.
