GAsupply wheel bolts M12x1.5x40mm, conical seat, set of 20 pcs. (BMW)

GAsupply wheel bolts M12x1.5x40mm, set of 20

A set of twenty GAsupply wheel bolts with an M12x1.5 thread and 40 mm shank length, with a 60-degree conical head and a 17 mm wrench size. The bolts are made of cold-forged alloy steel of strength class 10.9, additionally protected with an electrophoretic coating that increases resistance to corrosion and oxidation.

The set is directly compatible with many BMW models, including 128i, 135i, 318i, 320i, 325i, 328i, 335i, M3, 525i, 528i, 530i, 535i, M5, Z3, Z4 and the E36, E46, E60, E90, E92, E93 generations. Before buying, it is worth comparing the shank length and the seat shape (conical) with the original OEM bolts fitted to your vehicle, especially when using wheel spacers.

Applications

Wheel bolts are the basic element that fastens the wheel to the hub in systems with threaded bolts (as opposed to systems with studs and nuts). A set of 20 lets you replace the bolts on all four wheels at once - which is recommended when fitting a new set of rims, installing wheel spacers, or when the original bolts are worn, corroded or have a damaged thread.

The GAsupply product, with catalog number C12154020, has a conical-type hex head, matched to rims that require this particular seat shape - one of the most common standards in European passenger vehicles.

Remember that wheel bolts must be chosen precisely - the wrong length or head shape may result in the wheel not being fully tightened and a risk to driving safety, so it is recommended to verify compatibility with the vehicle's technical documentation before installation.

Who it is for

Recommended for owners of BMW vehicles and auto workshops replacing wheel bolts, e.g. when buying new rims, installing wheel spacers or during a periodic inspection of the suspension.
