Vandoren SR404 ZZ - soprano saxophone reeds, strength 4, 10 pcs

Vandoren SR404 ZZ - soprano saxophone reeds

Vandoren ZZ series reeds are among the reeds most often chosen by soprano saxophonists around the world. The pack contains ten pieces of strength 4, so you can pick out several with the sound and resistance that suit the player best.

Sound character

The ZZ series has a brighter, more distinct sound than the classic Vandoren reed line, while keeping good responsiveness and stability of tone across the whole range of the instrument. It is a choice often recommended to musicians playing popular music and jazz.

Construction

The reeds are made of cane selected to Vandoren standards - a French brand that has specialized for decades in making accessories for woodwind instruments: reeds, mouthpieces and accessories for clarinets and saxophones.

Who they are for

Strength 4 reeds are suitable for more advanced soprano saxophonists, used to greater mouthpiece resistance and looking for a fuller, stronger sound.
