Soundman Marching Lyre - nickel-plated flute lyre music holder

Soundman Marching Lyre - flute music lyre

The Soundman lyre is a sheet music holder designed to attach to a flute, allowing the musician to read the score while playing standing up or marching. It is a classic solution used in marching bands and at outdoor concerts, where there is no room for a traditional music stand.

Construction

The lyre is made of nickel-plated brass, which provides durability and resistance to outdoor conditions. A two-part clamp with a metal spring holds sheets of music or a whole booklet firmly and securely, even while moving.

Wearing comfort

The inner felt-lined band made of genuine leather makes the attachment to the instrument comfortable and does not scratch the surface of the flute, even during long performances. The width of the lyre is about 8.5 cm (3.34 inches).

Use

The lyre works well for musicians playing in wind bands, marching bands and at outdoor concerts, where mobile and stable attachment of music directly to the instrument is needed.
