Classic Cantabile Student Cello 4/4

The Classic Cantabile Student Cello 4/4 is an instrument intended for music school students and people starting to learn to play. The top is made of blocked spruce wood, and the back and sides of maple, which gives the instrument its characteristic, full sound.

Construction and materials

The fingerboard is made of stained linden, and the neck and bridge of maple wood. The pegs and nut are made of blackened maple, and the whole instrument is covered with a high-gloss varnish. The tailpiece is metal, and the instrument is full size 4/4 with a body length of 76.5 cm.

Ease of use

The instrument weighs approx. 3.1 kg, which makes it relatively light for a cello. The total length with the endpin can reach as much as 172 cm, depending on the setting.
