HYS CB antenna 26-28 MHz base station – base antenna for CB radio

HYS CB antenna 26-28 MHz – base antenna for CB radio

The HYS base antenna is a professional solution for CB radio users who need stable, long-range communication from a stationary position. The vertical design with vertical polarisation is intended for mounting on a mast or the roof of a building and works well in both amateur and professional communication.

Use

The antenna operates in the 26-28 MHz band, exactly the range used by CB radios. Thanks to 3.5 dBi gain, it provides noticeably better reception and transmission range than the standard antennas supplied with radios, making it a good choice as a base antenna for a permanent installation.

Construction and installation

The antenna is up to 6.2 metres long and is designed to withstand strong wind (up to 200 km/h). The SL16K connector makes it easy to connect to typical CB antenna cabling. Direct grounding protects the installation against lightning, which is important for outdoor mounting on a mast.
