Midori 35552006 – pocket letter opener

What it is for

This is a small envelope opener in the form of a paper knife, designed for quick and clean opening of mail. Just insert the envelope into the slot of the body and pull, and the blade cuts the paper evenly, without fraying the edges and without leaving waste. The blade is covered, so the tool is safe for everyday use in the office and at home.

Workmanship

• body made of ABS and AS plastic, blade made of SK-2 steel,
• a ball chain is included for hanging it on a bag, keys or pencil case,
• very small dimensions, about 5.3 x 3.8 x 1 cm, weighing only a dozen or so grams,
• durable enough for about a thousand standard envelopes opened.

Who it is for

The letter opener works at an accountant's desk, at a reception desk, in a doctor's office and in a home drawer. Thanks to the chain, it is easy to keep it always at hand.

As a pocket-sized paper knife, it is a practical alternative to a classic office opener and has been well regarded for years. Thanks to its simple construction, it needs no maintenance.
