Ostendorf KG DN 160 sewer pipe, 500 mm

A short section of sewer pipe from the KG system, intended for building and repairing external connections and gravity sewers. The pipe has a nominal diameter of DN 160 and a length of 500 mm, so it works where only a small piece is needed, for example for inserts, joints or renovation of an existing installation.

Material and construction

This is a PVC pipe from the KG system, that is, a DN 160 underground pipe for laying in the ground.

The pipe is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) in the characteristic orange color used in external sewer systems. The nominal wall thickness is 2.0 mm. The material is resistant to moisture and to typical substances found in household wastewater.

Applications

• external sewers and underground pipes,
• connections on construction sites and in gardens,

• works with KG system fittings and sockets of the same diameter.

Specifications

Connecting to other elements requires suitable KG system fittings and gaskets, selected for the DN 160 diameter.

The 500 mm section is easy to transport and store, and for simple jobs it saves you from cutting a long pipe. Before installation, check that the ends are clean and lay the pipes with the slope required for a gravity sewer.
