SCHARTEC ST171020 – 2 m sliding gate profile

A steel sliding gate profile is a track rail on which the rollers of a gate or wicket leaf run. The SCHARTEC ST171020 model is 2 meters long and made of steel with a material thickness of 1.5 mm, with a galvanized coating protecting against rust. This makes it suitable for outdoor installation at driveway and yard gates.

Use

The track rail works with sliding gate rollers and lets the leaf slide smoothly, without sticking. The manufacturer states a load capacity of up to 75 kg when the profile is fixed about every 75 cm. Several sections can be joined together and shortened to the required length, so the profile works for a small wicket as well as a wider passage.

Installation

The profile is fixed to a wall or ceiling using brackets, keeping the stated spacing of fixing points. This requires ordinary metalworking tools and a drill.
