Art-of-Baan XPS building board 20 mm

A building board made of extruded polystyrene (XPS), measuring 120 x 60 cm and 20 mm thick, giving 0.72 m² of surface. It is coated on both sides with fiberglass fabric and a special mortar, so it can be filled, plastered and tiled straight away. It is an insulation board and a tile substrate at the same time.

Application

The rigid foam board is used as a substrate for tiles, for building partition walls, bathtub and shower tray enclosures, plinths, platforms and as insulation in a bathroom, kitchen or basement. It is suitable for indoors and outdoors.

Properties

The material is waterproof, does not absorb moisture and does not rot. It has high compressive strength, so it withstands loads. At the same time it is light and easy to work, and a waterproof board like this works well in wet rooms.

Processing

The board can be cut to any size, and the coating works well with the tile adhesives available on the market.
