FreeCrows Africa Star medal – replica of a British World War II

FreeCrows Africa Star medal – replica decoration

A replica of the British Africa Star medal, awarded to Commonwealth soldiers for service in the North African campaign in 1940–1943. The medal takes the form of a full-size star on a ribbon, recreating the look of the original military decoration.

It is a good gift for World War II history enthusiasts and decoration collectors. The replica can be displayed in a cabinet or on a reenactment uniform, or worn in place of the delicate original, which is usually expensive and hard to find. The product is new and was made as a recreation of the historical design, not an authentic period item.

Specifications

The medal is light and small, so it is easy to store together with other decorations. Thanks to the faithful reproduction of the design, it will complement collections devoted to the history of the British army and the North African campaign.

A replica medal in this form is convenient for collectors who do not want to risk the original. As a military decoration it works in a themed display, and as a World War II medal it tells the story of the African campaign well. The attractive ribbon and metal star make a good impression in a display cabinet, and the low weight makes shipping and storage easier.
