Edision CAM-300 – central antenna amplifier DVB-T/T2 with 5G LTE

EDISION CAM-300 – central antenna amplifier for terrestrial television

The CAM-300 is a wideband antenna signal amplifier designed for receiving digital terrestrial television DVB-T/T2 (including DVB-T2) and VHF/FM radio. It is installed centrally, between the antenna and the splitter, to boost the signal distributed to several receivers in a house or apartment.

Three inputs and gain adjustment

The device has two UHF inputs and one VHF/FM input, so it can combine the signal from several antennas at once. The gain of the UHF section is adjusted in the range of 18–34 dB, and of the VHF/FM section in the range of 4–20 dB. This lets you match the level to the cable length and the strength of the received signal, avoiding overdriving the tuner.

5G LTE filter

The amplifier is equipped with a 5G LTE filter that reduces interference from mobile networks. The UHF band covers 470–694 MHz, and VHF/FM covers 47–230 MHz. The output level is 115 dBµV, and an additional test output with 20 dB attenuation makes it easy to measure the signal without disconnecting the installation.

Application

Terrestrial equipment of this type works in single-family homes, smaller multi-family buildings and installations with several antenna outlets, where the antenna signal is too weak after being split among many receivers. An antenna amplifier will not replace a good antenna, but it improves reception where it is attenuated by long cables and branches.
