Hasbro Gaming Battleship – classic family board game for 2 players

Hasbro Gaming Battleship – family board game

Battleship is a classic family board game in which two players fight a duel at sea. Each commands their own fleet, hidden from the opponent's eyes, and they take turns calling out coordinates to fire at. The winner is the first to sink all of the rival's ships.

How the game plays

The fleet includes an aircraft carrier, a destroyer, a submarine, a patrol boat and a battleship. The ships are placed on the ocean grid, and hits and misses are marked with red and green pegs. The rules are simple, so the game works as a game for children aged 7 and up, yet it also draws in adults because it requires planning and cunning. Once you have mastered the basics, you can raise the difficulty level and make repeated attacks.

Convenient and portable

The two fold-out boards have compartments for ships and pegs, so the whole set is easy to pack for a vacation, a trip to grandparents or a rainy afternoon. It is a good choice for a board game evening with the family.
