THERMIS – screw-in heating element G6/4, 4500 W, IP54

An electric screw-in heating element for boilers, buffer tanks, electric boilers and hot water cylinders. Made in the EU, designed for water heating and other similar liquids. The head in an IP54-rated housing protects the electrical connections from dust and splashes.

Construction

The mounting flange with a G6/4 thread (6/4 inch) is made of nickel-plated brass or stainless steel, and the heating rods of nickel-plated copper. The length of the heating section is 333 mm, and the permissible operating pressure is 10 bar. The heating element must be fully immersed in water during operation.

Power supply

The 4500 W heating element can be connected single-phase 1 x 230 V or three-phase 3 x 230 V – the connection should be made by an electrician. It is a good replacement when swapping a worn-out element and an additional heat source in a buffer tank working with photovoltaics.
