The smallest in the SDS-Plus family

The DCH172 is a very short and light rotary hammer with an electro-pneumatic hammer mechanism and a brushless motor. An impact energy of 1.4 J at a frequency of up to 4980 blows per minute and a speed of up to 1060 rpm is enough for quickly drilling holes from 4 to 16 mm for plugs and anchors in concrete, brick and masonry. The low weight makes it an ideal tool for overhead work - when installing systems, suspended ceilings and cable trays.
