Small, light, for overhead work

The DCH172 is one of the smallest SDS-Plus rotary hammers in the DeWALT range. The brushless motor and electro-pneumatic hammer mechanism deliver 1.4 J of impact energy, up to 4980 blows per minute and up to 1060 rpm. These are ideal parameters for holes from 4 to 16 mm for plugs, anchors and hangers in concrete, brick and masonry – especially in ceilings.

A version without a battery and charger – it fits any DeWALT XR 18V battery, and 5 Ah cells work best for longer work. The N variant is supplied without a case; the version in a TSTAK case is the DCH172NT.
