The DCD996 is a hammer drill driver with a brushless motor and a three-speed gearbox, designed for heavy-duty work on construction sites and in workshops. Torque of up to 95 Nm lets you drive long carpentry screws, drill large holes in wood and steel, and the hammer function handles holes in brick and blocks.

Key features

• three speed ranges: 0–450, 0–1300 and 0–2000 rpm,
• electronic clutch with 11 torque settings,
• all-metal 13 mm keyless chuck with automatic spindle lock,
• speed control with the trigger and reverse rotation switch,
• triple LED light illuminating the work area,

NT version – in a TSTAK case

The tool is supplied in a TSTAK case that can be linked with other boxes in the system. The set includes no batteries or charger – the drill works with DeWALT XR 18V batteries. For hammer work, 4–5 Ah batteries are best.
