JBL Stage Marine 8 – 20 cm boat speakers

The JBL Stage Marine 8 is a pair of two-way marine speakers with a diameter of 20 cm (8 inches), designed for flush mounting on boats, yachts, ATVs and in outdoor areas. They are designed so that their sound cuts through the noise of wind, engine and water.

Construction

Sealed polypropylene cones and symmetrical tweeters mounted in the grille provide deep bass and clear highs. Peak power is 375 W, and the sensitivity of 90 dB gives high volume even with a moderate amplifier.

Installation

The speakers are flush-mounted in side panels or a console. The included dimensional drawing makes it easier to prepare the cutout.

Marine vs. car speakers

Unlike ordinary car speakers, marine speakers have sealed components and a corrosion-resistant construction, so they keep their performance after contact with salt water.
