JBL Stage3 627F – 16.5 cm car speakers

JBL Stage3 627F is a pair of 2-way coaxial speakers, 16.5 cm (6.5 in) in diameter. The version marked with the letter F has no grilles, so it fits behind factory door covers and in tight mounting spots.

Construction

• 3-ohm impedance that compensates for the resistance of factory wiring

Sound

The speakers deliver 45 W RMS and 225 W peak power at 92 dB sensitivity. Compared with factory drivers they play louder, with more distinct bass and cleaner vocals, even when powered from a car radio.

Installation tips

Before buying, measure the diameter of the opening and the mounting depth in the door or on the shelf, and check whether your car needs a mounting adapter. When connecting, keep the plus and minus wires in the correct polarity so the bass is not cancelled out. The best results come from additionally deadening the door with a damping mat.
