Jabra 8734-599 – connect QD headsets to a sound card

This original Jabra cable lets you use a headset with a Quick Disconnect (QD) connector with a computer that has analog audio jacks. On one side it has a QD quick-disconnect connector, on the other two 3.5 mm jack plugs: one for the headphone output, the other for the microphone input.

When it comes in handy

• when the same QD headset needs to work sometimes with a phone and sometimes with a computer – just swap the lower cable,
• at training stations and language labs,
• with older computers that have separate headphone and microphone jacks,
• as a replacement for a damaged cable.

Construction

Part of the cable is coiled, so the cable extends when you move away in your chair and does not lie around on the desk. The QD connector allows quick disconnection of the headset without pulling the plugs out of the computer. The plugs are marked, so it is easy to tell the microphone cable from the headphone cable.
