Hi-Spec – 17-piece file set in a case

A versatile file set combining four large metalworking files with twelve precision needle files. It lets you remove material roughly and then precisely fit and finish a part – in metal, wood and plastics.

Set contents

• 4 files of 200 mm: flat, half-round, round and triangular,
• 12 needle files 140 mm long in various shapes,
• wire brush for cleaning the cuts,
• zippered case.

Craftsmanship

The files are made of hardened carbon steel, and cuts of different grades let you choose the tool for the task. Needle files are useful for deburring holes, correcting grooves, keys, small mechanism parts and in modeling.

In a car workshop the set makes metalworking easier: chamfering edges after cutting, fitting brackets and removing burrs from pipes.

Specifications

Before work, it is worth clamping the part in a vise and moving the file only in the push direction – that way the cuts work most effectively and stay sharp longest.
