A practical set of heat shrink tubing in eleven diameters and six colors, packed in a compartment box. When heated with a heat gun or a lighter, the heat shrink tubes reduce their diameter by half – a 2:1 shrink ratio – and fit tightly around the joint.

Applications

Material

The tubes are made of polyethylene resistant to temperatures up to 125°C. They protect well against moisture, dust and abrasion, and in a car they work well under the hood and in the doors. The colors red, black, yellow, green, blue and transparent make it easier to tell circuits apart.

Solid wire insulation is an inexpensive way to get a reliable installation.
