flintronic – 10 flap discs 125 mm, mixed grit

A set of T27 flap discs (lamella discs) for angle grinders. Each disc consists of about 90 abrasive cloth flaps with zirconia alumina on a fiberglass backing, so it sands efficiently and evenly, and exposes fresh grit as it wears.

Set contents

• 4 discs of grit 40 – coarse removal of material and welds,
• 2 discs of grit 60,
• 2 discs of grit 80,
• 2 discs of grit 120 – smoothing and finishing.

Use

Discs for sanding steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper and wood. They remove rust and paint, level welds and chamfer edges after cutting. The 22 mm bore fits most 125 mm grinders, and the maximum speed is 13,300 rpm.

Unlike a rigid grinding disc, a flap disc leaves a smoother surface and heats the workpiece less, which is why it is a popular choice for sheet metal work and in the metalworking shop.
