Oreilet – 16-piece set for rear axle control arm bushings

A set of tools for pressing out and pressing in metal-rubber bushings in rear suspension control arms directly on the car. The control arm bushing set lets you replace worn bushings without removing the whole beam and without a hydraulic press.

Applications

The set was designed for rear axle control arms on Toyota cars, including Corolla, Voxy, Noah, Harrier, Previa, Mark II, Isis and Wish. It fits bushings with catalog numbers 48725-02220, 48725-28050, 48725-12570, 48725-0D040 and related ones.

Construction

• 16 pieces: yokes, thrust and push-out sleeves, spindles with nuts,
• high-strength forged carbon steel,
• black oxide finish protecting against corrosion,
• large case with a molded insert.

The yoke is placed on the control arm eye, and the spindle pulls the old bushing out. The new one goes in the same way in the opposite direction, evenly and without skewing, which protects its rubber. This is a workshop tool for bushing replacement for mechanics servicing Japanese cars.
