What it is for

The GPH 18V-60 is a tool for electricians and switchgear installers who crimp terminals and connectors on large cross-section cables. The hydraulics generate 60 kN of force and the head rotates through 340 degrees, so you can work inside cabinets and in tight cable trays without repositioning the tool.

Crimp quality control

• an electronic pressure sensor checks that the required force has been reached,
• a status LED gives an immediate signal whether the crimp is correct,
• the history of cycles and pressures can be read via the USB port in the service software,
• a service inspection is scheduled every 20,000 crimping cycles.

Power supply

The crimping tool runs on Bosch Professional 18V batteries and is compatible with the AMPShare system, so the same cells that fit drills or grinders from this family will fit it. The set does not include a battery or charger.
