febi bilstein 45549 fuel filler cap

The febi bilstein 45549 fuel filler cap is a fuel filler cover of original equipment (OE) quality, designed for selected BMW and MINI models. It replaces a worn or damaged factory fuel tank cap, restoring a tight and neat closure of the filler neck. A product of febi bilstein - a German supplier of replacement parts with a long-standing reputation in the automotive market, known for precisely reproducing the parameters of original components.

The fuel filler cover is made of durable black plastic, measuring 16 x 58 x 69 mm and weighing only 61 grams. The locking-type closure provides additional protection against unauthorized access to the fuel filler, which matters both for safety and for protection against fuel theft. The cap is compatible with numerous BMW models, including the 1 Series (E87, F20), 3 Series (E91, F31), 5 Series (F10, F11), as well as the X1 (E84), X3 (F25) and X5 (F15), and with MINI equivalents.

The product is a part dedicated to a specific vehicle type - before buying, check the OE numbers (including 16 11 7 222 392, 16 11 7 193 381) against your own car's documentation to make sure it fits. The febi bilstein 45549 fuel filler cap is a practical solution for drivers who want to replace a worn part with one whose parameters match the original, without having to look for replacements of uncertain quality.

Installation is simple and requires no special tools - just unscrew the old cap and screw the new one onto the fuel filler thread. The product's country of origin is Austria, and the manufacturer is Ferdinand Bilstein GmbH + Co. KG, a company that has supplied automotive parts to workshops and stores worldwide for over a hundred years.
