Garmin Approach S44 43 mm Twilight – GPS golf smartwatch

Garmin Approach S44 – GPS golf smartwatch, 43 mm, Twilight

The Approach S44 is a lightweight golf watch from the Garmin Approach series, in a version with a 43 mm case and a silicone strap in Twilight. The watch shows course data on your wrist for more than 43,000 preloaded golf courses worldwide.

Golf features

The watch displays distances to the front, middle and back of the green, and the Hazard View feature helps you judge the distance to hazards such as bunkers. The PinPointer feature shows the direction of the flag even when the green is not visible. Scores can be recorded directly on the watch and sent to the Garmin Golf app, where you can see extended statistics and your calculated handicap.

Display and connectivity

The round AMOLED touchscreen is 1.2 inches. Once paired with a smartphone, iPhone or Android, the watch shows notifications over Bluetooth, including emails and text messages.

Navigation and battery

The built-in GPS receiver also works with GLONASS and Galileo. The lithium-polymer battery lasts up to 10 days in smartwatch mode or up to 15 hours in GPS mode, which is enough for a full round of golf without charging. The case is water resistant to 50 m.
