The Fenix 8 is Garmin's top sport watch, in a version with a 51 mm case, sapphire crystal and a solar panel that tops up the battery. The case is made of titanium, and the set includes a graphite-colored silicone strap. The whole watch weighs about 200 grams.

Display and case

The watch has a bright AMOLED display with a resolution of 396 by 396 pixels, operated by touch. The case is water resistant to 50 meters, so the watch can be worn while swimming.

Navigation and sports metrics

The built-in GPS receiver also works with GLONASS and Galileo systems, which speeds up position acquisition - this is a full-fledged GPS watch for running, climbing and many other sports. The watch has a wrist heart rate sensor, blood oxygen saturation measurement, as well as an altimeter, compass and gyroscope that support measurement accuracy during outdoor training.

Battery and extras

The solar panel in the glass extends battery life on a single charge to up to 18 days in smartwatch mode. The watch also has an LED flashlight, useful for activities in the early morning or evening, and up to 32 GB of storage for music to listen to without a phone.
