Garmin GT36 – transducer for ECHOMAP UHD sounders

The GT36 is a Garmin transducer designed to work with compatible chartplotters and sounders from the ECHOMAP UHD series. It has a 12-pin connector and hardware for mounting on a boat transom or on a trolling motor, so the mount can be matched to your own vessel.

Scanning sonar

The transducer supports SideVü scanning sonar in Ultra High-Definition resolution, with a 20% longer range at 1000 kHz, as well as ClearVü Ultra High-Definition scanning sonar. At 455 kHz, SideVü sonar shows an image of the bottom and structure up to about 150 meters on both sides of the boat.

Three operating frequencies

The GT36 operates on three frequencies - 455 kHz, 800 kHz and 1000 kHz - which provides good performance in both shallow and deeper water. Combined with a compatible Garmin chartplotter, vivid sonar color palettes make it easier to tell fish from bottom structure.
