Garmin GRID 20 - joystick remote for a marine chartplotter

The GRID 20 is a small, black controller intended for remote operation of compatible Garmin multifunction displays (chartplotters). The device is a joystick with a dial and a Push-to-Select button, so with one hand you can scroll menus, zoom the map or switch screens without touching the main unit.

Installation and connectivity

The controller can be installed wired or wirelessly, which makes it easy to choose the mounting method to suit the layout of the cockpit or bridge. The wireless range is up to 10 meters, which allows you to control the plotter from a second helm station on board. Both wired and wireless installation are possible, depending on the cockpit layout and user preference.

Operation

Four programmable keys let you assign the most frequently used functions, and the 360 degree joystick makes it easy to move precisely around the map and the main unit's menus. The GRID 20 supports one media device at a time, for example a compatible Garmin plotter unit.
