Garmin GT50M-TH - CHIRP DownVü/SideVü transducer
Three imaging modes in one element
The GT50M-TH is a Garmin thru-hull fishfinder transducer that combines traditional CHIRP sonar with DownVü and SideVü imaging. The DownVü/SideVü elements operate at frequencies of 455 and 800 kHz with 500 W power each, and the traditional CHIRP uses a mid-frequency range from 80 to 160 kHz with 300 W power, which together gives a very detailed picture of the bottom, structure and fish.
Optimized for shallow water
The transducer is optimized for work at shallow depths and is intended for hulls with a deadrise angle of less than 25 degrees at the mounting location. The built-in fast-response temperature sensor additionally shows the water temperature in real time. The solution works well for fishing in shallow bays and near the shore, where both image clarity and precise depth readings matter.
