Garmin Instinct Solar Tactical - tactical solar-charging GPS watch

Garmin Instinct Solar Tactical - tactical GPS watch with solar charging

The Garmin Instinct Solar Tactical is a rugged military-style GPS watch designed for work in difficult terrain. The 45 mm case is made of fiber-reinforced polymer, and the display is protected by chemically strengthened glass, so the watch withstands drops, impacts and dirt without losing legibility.

Tactical features

The Tactical version has a night vision compatible mode that adjusts the backlight so it does not dazzle a user wearing night vision goggles, as well as additional tools useful in the field, such as waypoint marking and bearing tracking. The watch receives signals from several satellite navigation systems at once, which improves position accuracy even in difficult field conditions.

Solar-powered battery

A solar panel built into the dial extends battery life up to 54 days in watch mode, provided the watch regularly gets exposure to sunlight. The watch is water resistant to 100 meters, has an IPX8 certification and connects to a phone via Bluetooth to show notifications and messages on your wrist.
