Garmin Striker Cast – portable castable fishfinder

The Striker Cast is a small, floating fishfinder that you cast on a line like an ordinary lure to scan the bottom and look for fish from the shore, a pier or a kayak, without needing a boat with a mounted transducer. The device connects wirelessly to a free mobile app on an Android or iOS phone and sends the sonar image to its screen.

Range and operating modes

The fishfinder sends data to the app from a distance of up to 60 meters and works in both shallow water (down to about 60 cm) and deep water, down to 45 meters. The app offers a 2D view and a Flasher mode useful for ice fishing.

GPS and your own fishing spot maps

The built-in GPS module lets you create your own depth maps of a fishing spot with 0.3 m contours in the Quickdraw Contours app, which makes it easier to remember proven spots for future trips.
