Jabra GN1200 – one cable for many desk phones

The GN1200 is a universal coiled cable connecting a Jabra headset with a QD (Quick Disconnect) connector to a desk phone. It solves a well-known problem: every phone manufacturer uses a different contact layout in the handset socket, so an ordinary cable often simply does not work.

Eight-position switch

On the cable there is a switch with eight settings used to match the pin layout to a specific phone. Just set it according to the compatibility table, and the headset starts working without an additional amplifier. The setting is retained mechanically, so it does not change when moved.

Uses

• connecting Jabra/GN headsets with QD to phones of various brands,
• a replacement for a lost or damaged bottom cable,
• swapping phones in a company without buying new headsets,
• coiled design – the cable does not lie on the desk and extends with movement.

On one end there is a QD quick-disconnect connector, on the other an RJ modular plug for the phone's handset socket.
