SEAC Bat - diving knife

The SEAC Bat knife is a compact, lightweight safety tool for divers, designed for cutting lines, nets and other obstacles encountered underwater. Thanks to its small size and a sturdy sheath that mounts on a belt or forearm, the knife is always within reach while diving.

Blade and construction

The 11.5 cm blade is made of AISI 420 stainless steel, resistant to corrosion in salt water. One side of the blade is smooth and curved, the other straight and serrated, which lets you cut both soft ropes and tougher materials such as fishing line or fishing nets. The total length of the knife with the handle is 23 cm.

Handle and safety

The thermoplastic rubber handle covers a metal tang and provides a secure, non-slip grip even with diving gloves. The knife sits in a rigid sheath with a release button integrated into the handle, making it easy to draw and safely stow the blade with one hand.

Mounting and care

The set includes a belt clip and straps for attaching the sheath to the arm or forearm. After every dive, even if the knife was not used, the manufacturer recommends rinsing the knife and sheath with fresh water and drying them thoroughly, as the sheath itself is not fully waterproof.
