SEAC Type – jacket BCD for diving

The SEAC Type is a buoyancy compensator in a classic single-bladder (mono-bag) jacket design, built for comfort and universal fit. It is a basic piece of a diver's equipment, combining the function of a tank carrier with buoyancy control underwater and at the surface.

Construction and fit

The buoyancy bladder is made of durable 420D nylon, and the shoulder adjustment straps run directly from the body, which limits jacket deformation and improves wearing comfort. The shape of the jacket was designed to be closer-fitting and more hydrodynamic without restricting freedom of movement while diving. Swivel buckles on the front shoulder straps prevent them from pinching and rubbing, so the jacket also fits a female figure better.

Versatility and comfort

Thanks to the bladder sliding independently along the harness (mono-bag), the jacket adapts to different body shapes. When inflated, the buoyancy bag stays around the hips without pressing on the stomach, which makes breathing and movement at the surface easier.

Pockets and hardware

The jacket is equipped with two large integrated side pockets (up to 4 kg of weight each) with convenient handles and two additional trim weight pockets at the back (up to 2 kg each). The diver has five stainless steel D-rings for attaching accessories such as a dive computer, a flashlight or a knife.
