Silicone molds for baking and casting

Silicone molds are flexible and light, and make it easy to remove baked goods without damaging their shape. In this category you will find muffin and cupcake molds, cake and tart molds, individual portion and mousse dessert molds, praline and ice cream molds, as well as molds for casting resin, soap or candles.

When choosing a mold, check the temperature range in which it can be used – most food-grade silicones withstand both oven baking and freezing. Pay attention to wall thickness and stiffness: a thicker mold holds its shape better. Molds intended for food should carry a marking approving contact with food.

If you plan to cast resin or plaster, use separate molds for that and do not use them later to prepare food. Before first use, wash the mold in warm water with dish soap, and after baking wait a few minutes for the cake to cool before taking it out.
