SIXTOL Welding Mask 3 – auto-darkening welding helmet

A welding helmet with an automatic filter that darkens by itself the moment the arc is struck. It shields the face and eyes from sparks, metal spatter and UV and infrared radiation, so you do not have to lift and lower the shield with every weld.

Auto-darkening filter

In the light state the filter is shade DIN 4, and once the arc is struck it darkens to the DIN 9-13 range, adjustable from the outside. Two sensors react to the arc light, and the sensitivity and the delay time for lightening after welding can be adjusted. Power comes from solar cells and two replaceable CR2032 batteries.

Comfort and use

The body is made of durable ABS plastic. An adjustable, padded cross headband fits the helmet to a head circumference of 50 to 60.5 cm. The helmet is suitable for arc, TIG, MIG and spot welding and for plasma cutting; it is not intended for laser or gas welding.
