Use

Retouching varnish is used while working on a painting and when refreshing older canvases. It gives a glossy finish, and with subsequent layers of paint it makes matching colors easier. The aerosol should be sprayed from a distance of several centimeters, in a well-ventilated room, away from fire. For final protection of the work, a final varnish is usually applied after the paint has dried completely.
