Tamiya 32605 Austin K2 4x2 – British military ambulance 1:48, model

Tamiya 32605 – British military ambulance Austin K2 in 1:48 scale

A plastic 1:48 scale military model depicting the British ambulance Austin K2 with 4x2 drive and a two-ton payload. From 1940 to the end of World War II, the British Army built more than thirteen thousand of these vehicles, and their medical bodywork was developed independently by the military medical corps.

What sets this model apart

The 1:48 scale gives a model about 29 cm long, so it looks good on a shelf and is convenient to assemble. It is a model kit from Tamiya, known for the precise fit of its parts, so it is also suitable for people working on their first larger projects.

Assembly

The parts are joined following the illustrated step-by-step instructions, and then painted as you see fit. Glue, paints and tools are not included. The manufacturer recommends the kit for ages 14 and up.

Specifications

The kit fits well in a collection of World War II military vehicles and in dioramas with a British medical rear area.
