Replacing the filter

The oil filter should be replaced according to the machine manufacturer's recommendations, usually together with the oil change. Turn the used cartridge counterclockwise, and lubricate the gasket of the new one with a thin layer of oil and tighten it by hand. After starting the engine, check for leaks and the oil level.
