Important tips before setup:
1. The camera works only on the 2.4 GHz band and does not support 5 GHz. If your router supports both bands, 5 GHz must be turned off.
2. The Wi-Fi network name and password must not contain special characters such as "i &".
3. Make sure the Wi-Fi network security is WPA2-PSK (AES).
Setup steps:
Step 1: Launch the Wansview app, tap + to add a camera and select "Add camera via Wi-Fi setup guide".
Step 2: Scan the QR code on the back of the camera, give it a name and continue.
Step 3: Enter the correct Wi-Fi password and continue. The camera will try to connect. After it is added successfully, it should appear as "online". If you run into problems, try repeating the process several times. The whole process should take a maximum of 5 minutes from starting the camera. If it fails, unplug the camera and try again.
