Abu Garcia Cardinal X 2000 - spinning fishing reel, black and red

Abu Garcia Cardinal X - spinning reel

The Cardinal X is a fishing reel from the Swedish brand Abu Garcia, designed for catching predatory freshwater fish such as trout, perch, pike or salmon. The size 2000 model suits both beginners and experienced anglers looking for solid equipment at an affordable price.

Construction and durability

The reel body and rotor are made of durable graphite, and the double-anodized aluminum spool provides corrosion resistance and long life. The foldable handle with a soft rubber grip makes it comfortable to hold the rod during longer fishing sessions.

Smooth operation

Four high-quality stainless steel ball bearings ensure smooth spool rotation with minimal resistance. The felt drag system provides stable friction drag operation, which matters when trying to land a larger fish, and the maximum drag force reaches 4 kg.

Use

The reel is designed for the spinning method and handles braided line, monofilament and wire, and the 5.2:1 gear ratio means one turn of the handle retrieves 72 cm of line. It works well on trips to rivers, lakes and reservoirs, where a precise and long cast matters.
